Hitting the road for the Faroe Islands
The last week has seen the culmination of several months work getting together the North Atlantic Pavilion for the 2012 Liverpool Biennial. After an intense get-in tomorrow we launch for accredited arts professionals before the full public launch on Saturday.
We've brought together three outstanding artists to represent Reykjavík, Tórshavn and Nuuk as part of City States. Over the next few days we'll be posting a few films introducing them and their work which you can see in the flesh (literally in some cases) and for free in the Copperas Hill Building until the 25th November.
First up Jessie Kleemann, a pioneer of contemporary Greenlandic spoken word, performance art and installation talking a little about her sometimes controversial practice.
