If you're stuck for something to do this weekend I highly recommend heading just over the river into Salford to see as Hub become Tub for 24 hours when Scratch 'n' Sniff Cinema pops up in town for 24 hours as part of the Hazard festival.
Screening 80s classic coming of age story My Beautiful Laundrette Scratch 'n' Sniff Cinema revives the ideas of eccentric trash film maker John Waters with a beautifully English twist. Forget Avatar's pretensions of 3D and prepare to be bombarded with scents of soap suds, ready money and bodily odours and embrace a whole new dimension to the cinema going experience - Odourama.
I met up with the man behind the event Bren O'Callaghan to find out a little more about what's happening. You can listen here.
Free tickets are available now! But they're running out fast.
Screenings are on Friday 16th July at 7pm, when actor Gordon Warnecke will be attending for an exclusive post-show Q&A.
There's also a matinee performance on Saturday 17th July at 2pm, sans Gordon.
Hub is located at Unit 3 Riverside Salford M3 5FS just over the river from the People's History Museum.
