In a break from all things Pride, Modern and Lesbian I came across an interesting article featuring the brewing fracas between Chris Anderson, of "The Long Tail" fame and his colleagues at Wired magazine over in the digital division.
It seems that Anderson is proclaiming that the internet is an inherently flawed medium when it comes to digesting what he regards as real journalism. This is probably true. The internet, as it stands, encourages short blasts of information, short attention spans and completely negates the happy accident of stumbling across a well presented story in a format that is comfortable to digest at leisure.
Still, can't help feeling it's a disguised iPad advert.
