Crate Digging for UK Hip Hop
Curated Place director, Andy Brydon, has recently unearthed a film commissioned for the Homegrown exhibition at Urbis in 2009.
Directed by Teddy Nygh, it features exclusive interviews with major players in the UK Hip Hop scene. The documentary charts its history from reggae soundsystems, jungle, garage, and grime through musicians and DJs including Rodney P, Roots Manuva, Sway, Rebel MC, Giggs, Heartless Crew, Skepta and Semtex.
