One of the few royal boroughs; Kingston remains one of the key retail centres in the South East giving visitors the opportunity to experience real culture and heritage while they shop. However, right in the centre of the oldest part of the town there lies an forgotten gem. Built in 1840, the beautiful Market House building sits at the centre of the market square is a monument to the success of this ancient and prosperous area.
Curated Place is proud to be working again with Writer, Curator and Music Historian James McNally on the redevelopment of one of Kingston's finest buildings. Partnering with Kingston First We will be transforming the former tourist information office and municipal meeting rooms into an exciting new exhibition and events space which will invite local, national and international cultural producers to explore the hidden history of the area right through to its exciting contemporary culture.
If you have an exhibition or project that you think would be suitable for this new venture we’re pulling together the first year’s programme now. To submit a proposal please contact us using the form to the right.
